I facilitate small groups via video conferencing for people who want to talk to other business professionals outside their current workplace in dealing with some of the common situations that come up in business from communicating to creating boundaries and balance.

Sessions are not therapeutic in nature, they are a forum for the wisdom of the group to emerge while being guided through the conversation. Topics of discussion are generated from a set curriculum and tailored to the current challenges of the participants.

For individuals, I provide coaching through a series of steps towards effective communication that can help ease frustrations and misunderstandings, especially in dealing with difficult conversations, and increase the likelihood of you and your team members getting what you want. We will go through a series of simple yet powerful communication tools including:

  • preparing yourself for a difficult conversation

  • setting up the conversation for best possible outcome

  • how to have someone feel heard/listened to

  • how to best share your perspective

  • creating clear agreements

  • acknowledging/appreciating others

In addition to my private practice as an individual and group therapist, I have an extensive background in a wide range of business environments. In 1994, I began intensive training with a global organization in effective communication and creating vision backed by action. Since then, I have co-authored the book The Sweet Spot: Leveraging Your Talents in Leadership and Life about personality types in the workplace, led group programs, been an educator in the public school system, and built/owned three successful businesses from the ground up.
